Only the half of the worm that contains the mouth will survive. If a worm is cut too close to its vital organs both halves will die. There is one species of flatworm that will turn into two seperate worms when cut.

There is more than one species of flatworm that can regenerate. This is actually
a form of reproduction for many worms.
